Light Play

Photography literally means "to write with light."

However, the phrase "to write" seems to be too structured, too serious, too work-like to accurately define

what photography means to me.

For me, photography means "to play with light."

I often create images where I have captured scenes where Light is playing with the elements in the world around me.

Othertimes, I create images where I have played with Light in my studio, illuminating my chosen subjects.

In all instances, I feel that my best images arise from having a sense of wonder, or curiosity, and of simply and joyfully

wanting to play with Light.
